The Philippines is such a great place to retire for Americans, but few do and that’s a shame. First of all, the people in the Philippines are different from what you may have grown accustomed to. There’s no sulky faces, no complaining. Instead the Filipino people are easy going and friendly and smile a lot. For a first timer to the Philippines, you may just wonder if you have been magically transported to another dimension! Life is much more enjoyable here. The pace is much slower and the attitude towards life, work and love is much more relaxed. If you really want to quit the rat race and retire to a tropical paradise with pristine beaches, cheap living and beautiful women, then the Philippines is the place for you.

Fast forward a few years. A friend of mine had invited me to spend a few weeks diving in the Philippines. Married to a Filipina and running a small business there, he was happy and living a life he truly enjoyed. I booked a ticket and arrived in Manila with hopes of a break from the boring life I had back home. Little did I know the Philippines would make such an impression.

I married my now wife 7 years ago after having met her on a diving excursion. We hit it off instantly and moved in together after a while. We eventually moved back to the states but didn’t find life as good as in the Philippines. It’s hard getting used to living in the states after having tried living like a King. What do I mean by living like a King?

Compared to the Philippines, the US seems cold. There is very little empathy and concern for others. What’s worse is the discrimination based on age. It’s like we as men are expected to either be content dating women who are divorced or settle for celibacy.

Of course, having money is only good if you have someone to share it with. Filipina girls are some of the most beautiful, sensual and kind women you could ever meet. Treat a Filipina with respect and she will make your life happy. I want you to think about this also. Are you happy with your life now? Be honest? I want you to know that there is another option.

Anyone who has always had a passion for Filipino girls and who wants to approach and ask them out on a date really needs to consider some very important things when they are going to the entire process.

Anyone who has always had a passion for Filipino girls and who wants to approach and ask them out on a date really needs to consider some very important things when they are going to the entire process.

As said, it is crucial that you understand how conservative they are and that you understand their culture. Filipinos are extremely family-oriented and as such they are going to want know that you are that way inclined as well. In addition, they love to be complementary the on a regular basis and will want a man who is willing to suck up to them and let them know how beautiful they are.

It is also absolutely crucial that you try to gain some understanding and knowledge of Filipino culture and history. Understanding this will help you to realise how conservative she might be and how much you may be able to get away with. Most Western men will put off any Filipino girl with the comments that they make, and therefore you need to know exactly where to draw the line.

If something doesn’t work the first time when you are approaching a Filipino girl, it is extremely unlikely to work the second time. Do not simply come back using the same tactics when trying to ask someone out, but instead try to change your approach.

Of course, it is important that you are able to develop your own confidence as well. Without a high level of personal confidence you won’t be able to even approach the girl, and this will scupper your entire chance of asking them out in the first place. In fact, this is pretty important when approaching any girl, regardless of whether they are Filipino or not, and therefore you need to develop your confidence without developing arrogance and cockiness.

Learn from any experiences that you have when you get rejected. Rejection should be seen as part of the process and every rejection is something that takes you closer to your first acceptance. As such, every time you are rejected this can be seen in a positive light, and you can start to develop your habits and technique in order to finally get the result that you want.

One final thing to consider is that you need to go to meeting places where Filipino girls are likely to be. Find out where they might hang out in your local area, and then go there on a regular basis to meet and greet.

Philippines girls, also called Filipinas, are generally very well educated. To graduate from college is of great importance to them. From a very young age, they are encouraged to do well at school. Proof of this dedication to academic achievement is evident by the fact that there are more females enrolled at colleges than males.

This is the only Far East nation where Christianity is the mainstream religion. More than 80 percent of the people are Roman Catholic. Strong religious doctrines are taught to children and they are taken to church when they are very young. It is compulsory for Filipinas to be married in a Christian church.

There is a misconception that Philippine women are subservient. Although this is not the case, it might seem so because most women are understanding, patient, and non-confrontational. Girls are brought up to speak gently, act in a lady-like manner and to communicate with other people politely.

Therefore, the notion that women are subservient to their husbands is a myth. As has already been pointed out, many have college or university degrees and work in high powered jobs. As such, they are hardly likely to make their husband’s wishes and needs their only priority. Having said this, Filipinas make loving wives because they are loyal, warm, and faithful.

Divorce is essentially illegal in the Philippines because marriage is believed to be a sanctimonious institution. As such, wives will do everything in their power to maintain stable and loving marriages. They are even prepared to forfeit their careers if necessary.

Due to the fact that Filipinas are raised to be faithful and honest, a wife will stand by her husband even in the hardest of times. But, if she is a victim of an abusive or violent husband, she will most certainly do all she can to have the marriage annulled. However, this would be the last resort.

Philippines girls grow up to be good home-keepers and wonderful mothers. They are dedicated to teaching their children the same core values that they learnt as youngsters. You will find a Filipina’s home tidy and clean with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Many are attracted to older men when looking for a husband because they offer financial security, are more mature, and unlikely to have an affair. In 40 percent of marriages, husbands are 10 years older than their wives.

A man being attracted to women is a common and universal instinct. The choice of the lady they love or like varies from one person to another. While a few men like Brazilian girls, a few may like American girls. However, most men develop an obsession for girls belonging to Asia and this is unsolved mystery as to why so many men are attracted to Asian girl dating.

Quite a few men have started liking Asian girls and the reasons are numerous. Some people like Asian girls for their rich cultural heritage, some like them for their eyes that are unique, some men get attracted to them because of their milky skin tone, and the list goes on. Although most men get attracted to these Oriental females, not everyone succeeds in Asian girl dating.

One common mistake that most guys do when trying to approach an Asian girl for the first time is that they assume that Asian girls do not know to speak English like a native speaker and hence take them for granted and try to act funny and smart. This is a completely a wrong assumption. Acting funny with girls by having such unrealistic assumptions is something that is perceived to be pretty insulting and offensive. The truth is that most of the Asian girls are pretty fluent in English.

One more crucial aspect for men with an interest in Asian girl dating, need to consider is that the roots of their heritage and their motherland are very valuable for all the girls and any insult to this aspect may result in the girl considering the man to be disgusting in nature.

All the various cultures of this world have their own limitations and it is the case even with Asian culture. Before even trying dating Asian girls, it is necessary that the guys gain the maximum information and knowledge about Asian girls like their culture, their food, their likes, and dislikes etc. This makes dating quite easy.

It is any day good to be honest and sincere with the girls by admitting that you either do not know anything or very little about their culture instead of trying to act smart thereby losing the lady love.

Asian girl dating is not a great or tough task. They too are as normal as girls of other nationalities are. The only disparity with respect to Asian girls is that they belong to a completely diverse descent and like everybody they would be pleased with anybody who values their traditions as much they value their own traditions.

In life you will face scenarios where you will be challenged to stand up for people who do not have a voice. For some its animals that get mistreated by their owners, for others its children who face abuse in the home and in family cases, it’s that relative who is undocumented and wants nothing more than to be left alone.

In ninth grade, my friends and I were placed in a physical education class alongside juniors, sophomores and seniors – which some might call a recipe for disaster. Nevertheless, we all tried to get along with each other. But no matter what we did, it was always clear who the freshmen were. As freshmen, we tried our best to stay out of everyone else’s way.

One day while changing before our physical activities my friend (let’s call him Eke) accidently stepped on a pair of Nike Air Jordans that belonged to a senior. The senior got angry and started to cuss out my friend Eke.

Eke had always been a follower, very shy and timid, and had no idea he’d done anything wrong. I could see that the senior was planning on beating him up, so I stood between the two and told him I wasn’t going to let him hurt my friend. It was just an accident. We exchanged words, he shoved me and I shoved him, but he did back off. Even though he’d said some threatening words to Eke, he knew that messing with Eke meant messing with me.

I learned my lesson that day: it’s important to stand up for those who don’t have a voice. This is why leaders gain followers, why politicians get noticed and eventually get appointed. After that day, nobody ever tried to mess with me. If they did, I always had people ready to stand up for me. Eke himself will tell you, I was his personal hero in that moment when I decided to stand up for him.

I gained confidence in myself and my abilities after being picked on during my middle school years and I was determined to never let the same thing happen to others. Stand up for other people if you know that they won’t stand up for themselves but make sure to keep yourself safe in the process. Ask permission from your parents or another adult to take a stand and for them to have your backing when you do.

Students at middle and high schools need to hear from a school assembly speaker who can talk to them about the consequences of school bullying and standing up for one another. A motivational youth speaker can inspire schools to put an end to bullying on campus. Young people should feel safe when they attend their classes.

Harbor Country Day School is housed in an elegant historic North Shore mansion, Tulip Knoll, once owned by the famous philanthropist Alice McLean. When you visit, you will find a welcoming front hall like that of a country estate, and classrooms that once were bedrooms, many with fireplaces and ornate woodwork. Our comfortable, historic surroundings directly influence learning: they help create an environment like that of a home, where students feel safe and secure.

And it is right here on 3 Sisters Road where you will immediately sense that sense of pure energy and that sense of community that is so integral to the Harbor Country Day School philosophy.

As you probe deeper and look more closely, you will find students performing at an academic level only possible with a talented and dedicated faculty, a challenging and broad curriculum and an approach that both stretches our most capable students and supports those who are in need. You will find technology such as MacBooks, SMART Boards, wireless connections, advanced calculators, an iMac computer lab and access to state-of-the-art learning software.

The Harbor Country Day School program is fully integrated and allows for the study and understanding of related subjects at the very same time in a variety of different classroom settings. As our fifth graders may be studying English historical fiction, they may at the very same time be seeing those themes repeated in their social studies classes. Harbor differentiates its instruction to enable us to teach ti the students’ individual skills and talents and based on assessment of those students our faculty can monitor progress easily, enabling our assessments to motivate and drive instruction as need be.

This wonderful school called Harbor Country Day is compact enough to pay attention to the smallest details, to be able to teach to each individual student, and to create that sense of independence in all of the students that attend.

We have a motto at Harbor Country Day School which is “Sine Labore Nihil which means ‘WITHOUT WORK, NOTHING.’ And we know that hard work on a daily basis is the key to achievement. Yet we also know that community involvement and fun have to be a large part of the mix.

A wonderful school on Long Island called Harbor Country Day School awaits! Visit this gem by contacting Christopher C. Pryor today.
