Eke himself will tell you, I was his personal hero in that moment when I decided to stand up for him.

I gained confidence in myself and my abilities after being picked on during my middle school years and I was determined to never let the same thing happen to others. Stand up for other people if you know that they won’t stand up for themselves but make sure to keep yourself safe in the process. Ask permission from your parents or another adult to take a stand and for them to have your backing when you do.
